TELEHEALTH FOR OUR THERAPISTS AND PATIENTS

We are offering to help our patients from the comfort of their home or workplace with an easy and secure video call with telehealth. In this time of uncertainty and physical distancing we want to do our part to help our clients as your health and wellness and the safety of our staff is always our top priority.

Please be assured that if there are any patients needing acute/emergency care we will make arrangements for you to be seen, providing it is safe to do so.

Via our secure video conference platform our licensed and experienced therapists can discuss your symptoms and reasons for seeking treatment and help guide you through physical exercises and stretches to treat your specific problem areas.  We listen to your story and with expert clinical reasoning and inquiry we work with you to set up a plan that works for you to reach your health and wellness goals.

Arrangements for treatment:

  1. To schedule an appointment to see one of our therapists via telehealth, please either email the clinic at info@peaktoshorephysiotherapy.com or call 705-446-2551, to leave a message. We will try to return your call and email promptly as we are checking messages regularly.  A computer with a webcam, iPhone, iPad or Android phone is all that is required for the patient.
  2. Follow the step-by-step instructions that will be sent to you in a personal email to sign into our telehealth portal to get your session started.
  3. Following your appointment, we can schedule another appointment if indicated and also we can forward you an exercise program for you to work on independently.
  4. If we have your insurance information on file we will bill your insurance company directly for the appointment. If you do not have private coverage we ask that you contact the clinic to provide a credit card number over the telephone and we will email you the receipt.

If you have any questions or concerns prior to making an appointment, please feel free to call us.  Stay active in the meantime and try to enjoy time with loved ones during this challenging period.
