Brian graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 1999 after working for several years in the ski industry. Since then he has been busy taking advanced courses in Active Release Technique for Upper/Lower Body & Spine recertifying annually, Kinesio Taping, Medical Exercise Training, Advanced Sports Massage, and more.
Brian has a long past in sports. He has competed in 5 Ironman Triathlons including the Hawaii Ironman in 2008, 8 Marathons, dozens of shorter triathlons, was a club cycling competitor for years in Brampton and Orillia, and is currently loving being a member of the Collingwood cycling club.
In clinical practice, Brian uses several techniques including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, Active Release Technique, Kinesio Taping, stretching, gait assessment/re-education, remedial exercise and more. He looks carefully at cause and effect looking for the root cause of muscle imbalance, tension, weakness, etc, to get his patients back to what they love doing, and keep them performing at their best.
Now that Brian is living with his family in Collingwood, he looks forward to spending more time biking, skiing (Alpine/Nordic/Telemark), running, and hiking.
