Andrew has relocated to the area from Vancouver, where he has practiced for the last 9 years. He has over 12 years of experience, completing his physiotherapy training at Queen’s University in 2005. Andrew has numerous post graduate courses, has pursued training in manual therapy, is certified through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and is a certified Gunn IMS practitioner. Andrew is one of only a few therapists in the area practicing Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (GunnIMS), and is in the process of becoming an instructor, which is taught through the University of British Columbia Division of Sports Medicine. It is an amazing tool for chronic and recurring injuries and injuries that have not responded to traditional treatments.
Andrew enjoys treating a variety of conditions and patients from all backgrounds. After a thorough examination and explanation Andrew will determine the most appropriate treatment to get you back to doing whatever it is you love to do. He has experience working with patients from every walk of life and activity level.
Andrew has spent time working with the Peterborough Lakers Major Series Lacrosse team as a team therapist and with the Queen’s Mens Rugby team. Andrew is an avid athlete himself, an ex varsity volleyball player, who has played just about every sport at some point. Right now his true joy and activity come from raising his two kids. Andrew is excited about raising his family in such an active and vibrant community and is looking forward to enjoying all that Georgian bay has to offer from snowboarding to surfing.
